In the song reverence Maxi Jazz sings “you don’t need eyes to see, you need vision“ . . . Wikipedia describes vision as "interpreting what is seen". In my work I seek to interpret what I see. . .
This may be an idea or a concept; it may be something right in front of me that I capture with the camera and sketchpad; or it may be an automobile or event whose essence and emotion has long been forgotten, that I seek to evoke with my pictures.
